Pole · Coaching · What comes next

I’ve never been one to stand still.

From the pole industry to coaching, creating and figuring out what’s next, my work has always come back to one thing: seeing what’s possible and helping people get there.

There’s always more to explore, more to learn and more possibility ahead.

I’ve spent my life exploring new directions, taking on challenges, building things from the ground up and occasionally having to start again. I’ve been a teacher, a coach, a business owner, a competitor, a world champion, an event creator and a mentor to other studio owners.

Some of those chapters were planned. Others certainly weren’t. But each has taught me something about what we’re capable of, how we navigate change and what can happen when we’re willing to back ourselves.

These days, my work spans the pole industry, business coaching and a growing interest in the bigger questions about life, ambition, independence and what comes next.

I don’t believe we have to fit neatly into one category. And I certainly don’t believe our best work, biggest achievements or most exciting chapters have to happen when we’re young.

My story so far

Different chapters. A common thread.

My career hasn’t followed a straight line, and I’ve never been particularly good at staying in one lane.

I’ve coached gymnastics, taught in schools, worked overseas, had a career in aviation and technology, and eventually found my way into the world of pole. What began as a passion grew into a business, a competitive career, an international network and opportunities to create experiences that bring people together.

Along the way, I’ve run a studio, competed on the world stage, run workshops and coached internationally, created shows and events, hosted conversations and helped other studio owners navigate the realities of running their businesses.

On paper, those things might look quite different. But there’s a common thread running through all of them.

I love seeing potential. I love working out how to turn an idea into something real.

And I love helping people recognise what they’re capable of, especially when they can’t quite see it for themselves yet.

Whether I’m helping a studio owner find a better way to run their business, creating an experience people will remember for years or stepping into a new challenge myself, I’m drawn to what could be possible.

And I’m still not finished exploring that.

Coaching

Building a pole studio is one thing. Building a business that works for you is another.

Running a studio takes so much more than being a great instructor. There are people to lead, systems to build, finances to manage, decisions to make and a hundred little things competing for your attention.

I know those realities because I’ve been living them since opening Achieve in 2012. I also know how easy it is to get caught up in the day-to-day and lose sight of the bigger picture.

Through my coaching, I help pole studio owners step back, see their businesses more clearly and make more intentional decisions about what they want to build.

Pole

Pole has shaped a huge part of my life.

It has challenged me, taken me around the world, introduced me to incredible people and given me opportunities I could never have predicted when I first started.

As a two-time world pole champion, studio owner, coach, instructor and event creator, I’ve been fortunate to experience this industry from many different perspectives.

I’m passionate about the people, the history, the creativity and the possibilities within pole. Whether I’m competing, coaching, running workshops or bringing an event to life, I love being part of a community that continues to evolve.

Life, perspective and what comes next

What if your best years are still ahead?

For a long time, I had a particular idea of what success and getting older were supposed to look like. Then life had other plans.

I’ve experienced chapters that forced me to rethink what mattered, rebuild parts of my life and find a way forward when the future looked nothing like I’d imagined. And somewhere along the way, I began to see getting older very differently.

I used to wonder whether the best years of my life were already behind me. Now I’m much more interested in what might still be ahead.

I’m drawn to conversations about independence, ambition, resilience, starting over and the assumptions we make about what is or isn’t possible for us. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know how much can change when we begin to see things differently.

Thoughts and stories

Things I’ve learned along the way

Explore my thoughts and stories

I’ve learned a lot through coaching others, building businesses, chasing goals and navigating the chapters I never would have chosen.

  • That trusting your gut matters.
  • That independence can change the way you move through the world.
  • That comparison can distort your idea of success.
  • And that sometimes the thing you think has set you back becomes the beginning of something you couldn’t have imagined.

I’m interested in the lessons that sit beneath the achievements: the decisions, the doubts, the turning points and the moments when a different perspective changes everything.

This is where I’ll share more of those thoughts, alongside my podcast, articles and conversations about business, creativity, ambition and life’s next chapters.

Not a collection of rules for how to live, but ideas to think about, stories to learn from and perhaps a different way of looking at something you’re working through yourself.

There’s always another chapter.

I’m still building things, asking questions, changing my mind and working out what I want to do next.

I don’t have a perfectly mapped-out plan for every chapter, and I don’t think I need one. Some of the best things in my life have come from being curious enough to try something, determined enough to keep going and open enough to see where it might lead.

If you’re building something of your own, finding your way through a change or wondering what else might be possible for you, I hope you’ll find something here that resonates.

There’s a lot more to come.
